Hassan Academy welcomes volunteers who can support the children through therapy, movement, skill classes, art, sports, music, storytelling, practical help, or simply by spending meaningful time with them.
Ways to help
Offer a skill, activity, or service that helps a child grow.
The most helpful sessions are simple, consistent, and adapted to each child's ability, comfort, and pace.
Speech Therapy
Help children build speech, language, listening, articulation, communication, and self-expression skills under academy guidance.
Physiotherapy
Support safe movement, posture, balance, mobility, stretching, and physical development activities for children who need extra care.
Behavioral Therapy
Assist with positive behaviour support, routine-building, structured observation, and child-centred learning activities.
Developmental Therapy
Support activities that strengthen attention, social interaction, sensory awareness, play skills, and everyday independence.
Yoga & Movement
Lead gentle stretching, breathing, balance, and body-awareness sessions designed for children with different abilities.
Art Activities
Offer drawing, painting, crafts, calligraphy, and creative activities that give children a calm way to express themselves.
Skill Classes
Teach practical skills such as stitching, computer basics, spoken communication, grooming, or daily living routines.
Music & Rhythm
Use songs, rhythm games, recitation practice, or group activities to encourage listening, confidence, and participation.
Events & Outings
Help with sports days, celebrations, awareness activities, supervised visits, and other campus events.
Mentoring Support
Give patient one-to-one or small-group support for confidence, social skills, reading, and everyday communication.
Volunteer moments
Small moments can become part of a child's week.
A volunteer's time can add warmth, activity, confidence, and joy to the school day.
For university students
Complete your internship in a real care and education setting.
Students from psychology, special education, education, therapy, social work, and related programmes are welcome to apply.
Open to university students
Certificate after completion
University students can join Hassan Academy for supervised field experience alongside children, teachers, therapists, and care staff. After completing the agreed internship period and responsibilities, the academy will provide an internship certificate.
- Observe special education, therapy, activity, and daily care routines in a real campus setting.
- Support classroom activities, skill-building sessions, events, and structured volunteer work under staff guidance.
- Receive an internship certificate after completing the required attendance, conduct, and responsibilities.
Volunteering here is about patience, dignity, and consistency.
You do not need to be perfect. You do need to be kind, respectful, consistent, and willing to follow the academy team's guidance so every session is safe and meaningful for the children.
