Education at Hassan Academy
Teaching the way these children learn.
If a child cannot learn the way we teach, perhaps we should teach the way they learn.
Our programmes
Every child receives a complete support plan.
Hassan Academy is not just a school. It is a therapeutic and educational environment where teaching, therapy, and care work together every day.
ABA Therapy
Evidence-based behavioural therapy for children with autism and developmental challenges, delivered by trained staff in structured daily sessions.
Speech Therapy
On-staff Speech and Language Therapists working with children every day — not visiting consultants, not monthly sessions.
Occupational Therapy
Building real independence in fine motor, gross motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills.
Early Intervention
Structured daily support for children from age 2, with monthly Individualised Education Plans shared with families.
Academic Curriculum
Nursery to Class 8, built from the ground up for children with special needs — not adapted from a standard syllabus.
Computer & Digital Skills
A dedicated computer lab as part of every child's regular weekly timetable — building skills for adult life.
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
Evidence-based therapy, built around each child.
Applied Behavior Analysis is the leading evidence-based approach for children with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental challenges. At Hassan Academy, our ABA programme focuses on building communication, social, and adaptive skills through structured, positive, and individually tailored methods — at a pace that works for each child.
- Structured 1-on-1 and small-group sessions
- Positive reinforcement throughout — no punitive methods
- Progress tracked and shared with families regularly
- Fully integrated with the child's classroom programme

Speech therapy
A qualified therapist, on staff, every day.
Hassan Academy employs qualified Speech and Language Therapists — not visiting consultants, not monthly sessions, but people who know each child and work with them regularly. For many of the children here, this is the first time they have had consistent, professional speech support.
Occupational Therapy
Independence, built skill by skill.
Our on-site Occupational Therapist works with children to build real independence — in the classroom, at home, and in life. OT sessions at Hassan Academy address six core development areas.
Fine Motor Development
Gripping, writing, buttoning, threading, and other precision hand and finger movements.
Gross Motor Coordination
Balance, posture, body awareness, and large-movement coordination.
Sensory Processing
Supporting children who are over- or under-responsive to sound, touch, light, or movement.
Daily Living Skills
Dressing, self-feeding, personal hygiene, and other practical self-care tasks.
Organizational Skills
Time management, following multi-step directions, and keeping a structured workspace.
Executive Functioning
Concentration, problem-solving, decision-making, and emotional regulation.
Early Intervention
The earlier the start, the greater the gain.
Hassan Academy accepts children from the age of 2. Early intervention is the most impactful period for children with ASD, Down syndrome, hearing impairment, and other neurodevelopmental conditions — and we take it seriously. Our programme provides intensive, structured daily support tailored to each child's developmental stage.
- Accepts children from age 2
- Intensive daily sessions — not once-a-week clinics
- Covers ASD, Down syndrome, hearing impairment, and more
- Monthly progress reports shared with families
Every child gets an Individualised Education Plan.
Our teaching and therapy team develops a personal learning plan for each child — covering goals, methods, and measurable progress. Parents receive a full written update every month. The plan is revised as the child grows.
The curriculum
Nursery to Class 8. Designed around each child.
Hassan Academy's in-house curriculum is designed specifically for children with special needs — not adapted from a standard syllabus, but built from the ground up. English medium is used from Nursery through Class 5; Urdu medium from Class 5 onwards. Teaching is patient, personalised, and paced to each child. The syllabus through Class 8 draws from general education textbooks, shaped by what works for these learners.

Computer training
Digital skills as part of the everyday timetable.
The computer lab is not an extracurricular — it is a regular part of every child's week. Hassan Academy's well-established computer laboratory teaches basic computer skills, digital literacy, and practical applications, giving children tools they will carry into adult life.
